Candidates must ensure that choices are filled and officially confirmed in the system, as unconfirmed draft forms will not be considered for seat allotment.
- Visit dse2026.mahacet.org.in and log into your account using your DSE Application ID and Password.
- Analyze the published Category-Wise Seat Matrix to evaluate vacancies in target colleges and branches before selecting choices.
- Add choices by selecting preferred institutes, courses, and autonomous/non-autonomous categories. Candidates can enter up to 300 option choices.
- Arrange choices in order of preference (Preference 1 being the highest priority).
- Verify the option form using the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number. Take a printout of the confirmed option form for your records.
Key Option Entry Guidelines for Applicants
- 1st Preference Auto-Freeze Rule: If a candidate is allotted the seat corresponding to their Preference 1, it will be automatically frozen.
