Maharashtra SET 2020 Important Dates

Savitribai Phule University, Pune has commenced the application process of Maharashtra SET 2020 from January 1st which will end on January 29, 2020. MH SET will take place on June 28th, 2020. MH SET 2020 will be conducted for the post of Assistant Professor in the states of Maharashtra and Goa.

About Maharashtra SET Exam 2020

Maharashtra SET 2020 exam will be conducted in order to determine the eligibility of candidates aspiring to be an assistant professor in the state of Maharashtra. Maharashtra State Eligibility Test is conducted in 32 subjects under the faculties of Arts; Commerce; Science; Management; Law; Mental, Moral and Social Sciences; Education and Physical Education. Every year, thousands of students appear in the MH SET examination.

MH SET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam, candidates are advised to check out the eligibility criteria of the MH SET 2020 entrance exam. Educational Qualification: ​

• Candidates must have a valid master's degree or PG diploma/certificate from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% aggregate in their respective degree.
• Candidates appearing in the final year master's exam of the qualifying degree are also eligible.
• There is no upper age limit to apply for this exam.
• The applicant will be allowed to appear for SET in the subject of a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification only.

MH SET 2020 Application Form

The MH SET 2020 application form has been available from 1st January 2020 and the last date to submit the online application form is 29st January 2020. In order to apply, firstly, the candidates will have to register themselves before the last date of application. The important points regarding the MH SET 2020 application form are listed below:

• The application form will be accepted for candidates in online mode for those who meet the eligibility criteria.
• Candidates will have to confirm the online application form from the login by visiting the official website before registering their application.
• The MH SET 2020 application form has been made available from 1st January 2020
• Candidates are requested to write all the details carefully and upload the scanned images of a recent photograph and signature.

MH SET 2020 Application Fee

Candidates will be required to keep the printed copies of filled MH SET 2020 application form and slip for future reference. Candidates can pay the MH SET 2020 application fee in online mode. The candidate can pay the application fee through credit/debit card. The MH SET application fee is non-refundable. Open category candidates will have to pay Rs. 550 as the MH SET 202- application fee while for the reserved category the application fee is Rs. 450.

How to Apply for Maharashtra SET 2020?

Before filling the MH SET 2020 application form, candidates will have to fill the - User Registration Form. The candidates can follow the steps given below for the same:

• Click on the link - Apply Now on the official website
• Candidates will have to create the Username
• Candidates can now fill up the online MH-SET application form with user registration Email ID and Password.

After that, candidates can use their respective registered Username & Password to log in. Now, the candidates can start filling the MH SET main application form by following the instructions. For this, candidates will require their Certificate Number of SSC and HSC Examinations and Aadhaar Number. Once all the details are filled candidates can cross-check the information and click on the submit button. Candidates can also preview the MH SET 2020 application form before final submission.

Documents Required for MH SET 2020 Application Form

Candidates appearing in the MH SET 2020 examination will be required to submit certain documents along with the MH SET 2020 application form Candidates will have to submit the scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature.

MH SET Exam Pattern 2020

The MH SET 2020 exam will be conducted on 28th June 2020.Given below is the detailed MH SET 2020 exam pattern which will help candidates to be well prepared for the examination. The MH SET 2020 exam pattern has changed from the current year. From now on, the exam will have two papers instead of three. The MH SET 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode and candidates need to take both the papers one after another.

The MH SET Paper I is general in nature and is conducted to check the research and teaching ability of the candidate. Paper 1 will consist of 50 objective type questions carrying 2 marks each.

The MH SET Paper II is based on the subject selected by the candidate and consists of 100 objective type questions carrying 2 marks each.

MH SET 2020 Admit Card

Candidates can download the MH SET 2020 admit card from the official website. The MH SET 2019 admit card will be available from 18th June 2020. All the candidates appearing in the MH SET 2020 examination will have to carry their hall ticket. Along with the admit card, candidates will have to carry their ID proof for identity verification on the day of examination. The MH SET 2020 admit card will have all the information such as candidates roll number, name, centre, and other information.

The MH SET Answer Key 2020 will be available for the candidates on the official website. The MH SET 2020 key will be uploaded set wise by the authorities. MH SET 2020 Marking Scheme

As per the MH SET 2020 marking scheme, each candidate will be awarded 2 marks for every correct answer. There's no negative marking in the MH SET 2020 examination.
