MH CET Law 2021 Counselling Highlights

The counselling process of MH CET Law 2021 began soon after the results were declared. The official notification was released on the website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. MH CET Law 2021 was held on October 4 and 5 for 3 Year LL.B and its results were declared on October 29, 2021. For admission to the 5 Year LL.B programmes, the exam was conducted on October 8 and the results were out on October 28, 2021.

Last year, the state-level law entrance exam was organised in the first week of November 2020. The MH CET Law 2020 counselling process for 5 Year LL.B had continued from December 11, 2020 to February 19, 2021, and that for 3 Year LL.B was held from December 14, 2020 to February 24, 2021.

Major Highlights of MH CET Law 2021 Counselling Process

Given below are some of the important highlights of the counselling process of MH CET Law 2021.

  • The MH CET Law 2021 counselling is a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) that is organised in the online mode.
  • Candidates are required to register for the seat allotment process online and participate in all the rounds.
  • Several steps are involved in the entire procedure including registration, uploading of documents, choice filling, payment of fee, document verification, etc.
  • Every year, the counselling process begins as soon as the results of MH CET Law 2021 are declared for both 3 Year and 5 Year LL.B.
  • The process will be held in three rounds and it is conducted separately for 3 Year LL.B and 5 Year LL.B admissions.
  • First, candidates have to register themselves for the counselling process and pay the registration fee. The fee varies from category to category.
  • In the next step, they have to upload all the documents that are asked by the conducting body. This includes the mark sheets of class 10, 12, and graduation (for 3 Year LL.B), MH CET Law 2021 scorecard, etc.
  • The uploaded documents will be scrutinized by the concerned authorities and any discrepancy will lead to the disqualification of the candidate from the admission process.
  • A consolidated merit list will be released after which the seat allotment list will also be published.
  • Candidates will be given a window to report to their allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
  • After the first round, all colleges will display the number of vacant seats left and another round of counselling will be held to fill those seats.
  • The institutes that offer admission through the Management Quota will publish the merit list for ACAP and management quota seats.
  • Candidates will have to fill online options/ college choices and upload all the documents for the Institute Level Round.
  • A merit list will be released by the colleges on their official websites and aspirants will have to report to the college for admission.
