MU OET 2017 Application Process starts from 2nd November 2016

Manipal University has released the online application form of MU OET (Manipal University Online Entrance Test) 2017 from November 2, 2016.

MU OET is a university level entrance test organized by Manipal University every year. The exam is conducted for providing admissions to aspiring students seeking admissions into various UG and PG courses

Application Process for MU OET 2017:

• Candidates can apply online on the official website of Manipal University and download the application form from the website
• The application fee is INR 600 and entrance exam fee is INR 1400
• The fee payment can be made through demand draft drawn in favor of ‘Manipal University’ payable at Manipal/Udupi.

Eligibility for MU OET 2017:

B.Tech

For the B. Tech courses, candidates must clear 12th or equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry with English having 50% marks.

BBA

For BBA course candidates must have passed 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent exam while securing minimum 50% marks.

Lateral B.Tech

for lateral B.Tech candidates must have a degree from any recognized university while securing minimum 45% marks and must have Mathematics at 12th standard.

For M.Tech

For M.Tech Candidates must clear BE/B.Tech or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate.

MDS students must have clear BDS or equivalent degree recognized by DCI

Approximately 50,000 applicants appear for MU OET every year for admissions to B.Tech/ B.E. programmes across various institutes of Manipal University. These institutes are Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim Manipal University.
