Narula Institute of Technology organised Technical Quiz
Department of Computer science and Engineering of Narula Institute of Technology successfully organized technical quiz on May 16th, 2016.The quiz was mainly organised for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd-year students of the stream. More that 150 students had participated in the quiz enthusiastically. The main motive behind organising the quiz was the intention to encourage the students to look beyond their bookish knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts especially to improves or expands one’s knowledge, skill, thinking power, and leadership skill and of course the group activity.
Narula Institute of Technology (NIT Kolkata) was established in 2001 and is situated in Agarpara. This institute is the second forerunner education enterprise under JIS Educational Initiatives. The students get an opportunity to interact with foreign lecturers all across the globe through seminars, conferences, and special teaching-learning sessions. The Institute is eligible for receiving Central assistance under the recognition of 2(f) & 12(B) under UGC Act. The institute is also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has also received the notable World Bank Assisted and MHRD approved TEQIP (Phase II) grant for the advancement of Higher Technical Education. The institute boasts of a powerful R & D cell with immense contribution from the scholarly faculty members.
Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the college has also reached to a new height of excellence recently by completing the task of making the Design Lab (in Python) in collaboration with IIT, Bombay, Spoken Tutorial, a Project of MHRD, Govt. of India.
