As the NCHMCT JEE 2024 exam draws near, here are some last-minute tips for candidates:

#Tip 1: Focus on solving as many questions as possible within the allotted 180 minutes. Try to finish early to leave at least 30 minutes for revision. Start with the sections you are most comfortable with.
#Tip 2: Stay updated on current events and general knowledge. There is a dedicated section for GK and Current Affairs in the exam, so it is essential to be well-informed.
#Tip 3: Answer confidently, but be cautious of the -1 mark negative marking for each wrong answer. However, there is no negative marking for leaving questions unanswered.

Documents to Carry on Exam Day for NCHMCT JEE 2024

All the important documents which have to be carried to the exam centre are listed below:

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Admit Card

The admit card is the most important document which the candidate must carry with him. No candidate will be allowed to sit in the examination hall without the admit card. NCHMCT 2024 admit card will be released by the exam conducting body. Candidates may download their admit cards from the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). To download the NCHMCT JEE 2024 admit card, candidates can follow these steps:

  • Log in to the NTA website
  • Click on the link on the homepage saying ‘Download NCHMCT JEE Admit card 2024’
  • Enter the login credentials to access the admit card
  • Thoroughly check all details in the admit card 
  • In case of a mistake /error spotted, immediately report the same to NTA
  • Save and Download the admit card
  • Take a printout for future reference

Candidates are also required to affix their photograph in the designated slot on the NCHMCT JEE admit card. The document will have the candidate's name, the application number, the code of the examination centre, the address of the examination centre, roll number and examination timings.

Passport Size Photographs

Candidates will also need a passport-size photograph. The photograph should be the same as the one used while filling up the application form.

ID Proof

Candidates should carry at least one photo ID proof along with them. ID Proof is required to verify the candidate's identification. Any candidate who fails to carry the ID proof will not be allowed to take the examination. Candidates can carry any one of the following IDs along with them:

  • PAN Card
  • Aadhaar Card (with the photograph)
  • Driving License
  • E-Aadhaar
  • Voter’s ID Card

PwD Certificate (if applicable)

Persons with Disability need to carry the PwD certificate to the examination centre. In such cases, candidates are requested to report early to the exam centre.

*Note: It must be noted that the ID card issued by Colleges/schools/coaching centres/universities without Aadhaar card or any image stored in the mobile number will not be accepted

Things Not Allowed in NCHMCT JEE Exam Centres

NCHMCT JEE will be conducted online so candidates will not have to carry a pencil or pen inside the examination hall. All the necessary items such as a blank paper sheet and pen will be provided inside the examination hall. Besides this, candidates are not allowed to carry the things mentioned below to the examination centre. It should be noted that the examination centre does not have the facility/ security to keep candidates' valuables secure.

  • Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/ Microphone/ Pager
  • Any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices
  • Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator
  • Tape Recorder
  • Camera
  • Log Tables
  • Slide Rules
  • DocuPen
  • Calculator

  • Any kind of Stationery/ Paper/ Textual material
  • Purse
  • Handbag
  • Geometry/ Instrument/ Pencil box

*Note: Besides this, students who are diabetic will be allowed to carry fruits to the examination room/ hall. No candidate will be allowed to carry packed foods such as sandwiches/ candy and chocolates.

NCHMCT JEE Important Exam Day Instructions 

All candidates must keep a note of these NCHMCT JEE exam day instructions for D-day:

  • Candidates must reach the NCHMCT JEE exam centre at least an hour before the scheduled entry time
  • Candidates must carry all the mentioned documents without fail
  • Applicants must carry a copy of the NCHMCT JEE admit card with their photo affixed since it is the ticket to the exam hall
  • Candidates travelling from neighbouring districts should arrive a day or two before the exam to become familiar with the new surroundings
  • Applicants must take note of the items/objects prohibited inside the exam hall. Any candidate found in possession of banned items will be barred from taking the exam.
  • Applicants should follow the NCHMCT JEE dress code when arriving at the venue. While T-shirts, shirts, jeans, Kurtis, salwar suits etc. are allowed, candidates must avoid wearing tight-fitting leggings, jewellery/accessories, meta objects like belts, watches etc., heels and shoes. 
  • Students must not breach any of the exam rules/guidelines as mentioned, or they may have their candidature cancelled

There will not be any personal interviews or group discussion rounds. Selection will be done directly based on scores in the NCHMCT JEE entrance examination. Candidates should focus on scoring good grades in the exam to secure a seat.
