Registration for Round 1 of the centralised e-counselling process will officially open on 5th August, 2026, covering approximately 1,36,939 MBBS seats, along with thousands of BDS, AYUSH, and B.Sc Nursing seats across medical institutions nationwide.

Quotas and Seats Covered Under MCC
The centralized process managed by MCC governs the following medical seats:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ): Government medical and dental colleges across all States and Union Territories.
- 100% Institutional Seats: All AIIMS institutes, JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal), Central Universities (BHU, AMU, University of Delhi), and Deemed Universities.
- Central Institutes: Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC - registration only) and ESIC IP quota seats.
(Note: The remaining 85% State Quota seats will be filled independently through state-specific medical admission committees).
