NEET 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, and the NEET UG 2024 Admit Card is highly anticipated to be released in the final week of April 2024. Students are requested to carry some important documents along with the admit card/hall ticket. 

As per the NEET UG 2024 Exam Day Instructions set by NTA, students must not wear long sleeves, or footwear with high heels or jeans with pockets or zippers on the exam day.  The dress code released by NTA has to be followed by students, or else entry inside the exam hall will be strictly prohibited.

What to Do if You Face Technical Issues During NEET 2024 Exam Day? 

Facing technical issues during the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam can be stressful, but there are certain steps you can take to handle the situation. Here are some things to do if you face technical issues during the NEET exam:

  1. Stay calm and notify the invigilator: If you face any technical issues such as a computer crash or a power outage, stay calm and immediately notify the invigilator present in the exam hall.

Any candidate found to be dressed inappropriately or wearing items prohibited in the dress code list shall not be allowed to appear for the entrance test. Thus, candidates are advised to go through the following recommended NEET 2024 dress code guidelines to avoid unnecessary hassles:

  • On the NEET 2024 exam day, candidates will have to wear slippers and sandals with low heels. Closed footwear like shoes is not allowed in theNEET exam centres 2024.

  • Male students are not allowed to wear long or full sleeves shirts or t-shirts.

  • The trousers or jeans must not have multiple zippers or pockets.

  • Shoes with thick soles and clothing with large buttons are also not permitted as per the official statement issued by the NTA.

  • Any kind of jewellery like earrings, rings, and necklaces should be avoided. 

  • Candidates, be it males or females must ensure to wear open-toe footwear. 

  • Those who wear specific attire for religious purposes will be required to report to the exam hall for mandatory frisking.

NEET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

The conducting body for NEET UG, NTA (National Testing Agency) has a set of guidelines that need to be followed strictly by all candidates appearing for the entrance exam. Find out all about NEET 2024 exam day guidelines below:

  • The NEET exam centres will be opened 45 minutes before the official exam time. To avoid any last-minute confusion, it is best to reach the exam centres at least one hour before the commencement of the exam.

  • No digital or textual material is allowed inside the NEET exam hall. Those found in possession of the same will be debarred from appearing in the NEET exam permanently.

  • Only NEET 2024 Admit Card will be allowed inside the exam hall.

  • The invigilator will announce the time during the beginning of the exam, at half time, and at the end of the exam.

  • To fill in the information on the test booklet, candidates will be given the booklet at 1:45 PM (15 minutes ahead of the examination).

  • It is mandatory to sign the answer sheet once at the beginning of the exam and then after the conclusion of the exam.

  • To write the NEET exam, candidates will be provided with a ballpoint pen in the exam hall itself

  • Candidates are required to give their finger impressions on the attendance sheet of the exam.

  • On the completion of the NEET 2024, exam candidates will be allowed to move out in an orderly manner - one candidate at a time.

NEET 2024 Admit Card Guidelines 

NTA will release the NEET 2024 admit card on its official website. Once released, we will update the direct link to download NEET 2024 Hall Ticket so applicants can get easy access to the same. Important guidelines for NEET 2024 admit card that need to be kept in mind are as follows:

  • It is mandatory for all candidates to carry NEET 2024 Hall Tickets on the day of the exam.

  • The name and address of the exam centre, reporting time, along with the candidate’s roll no. will be mentioned on the admit card, so one must keep it safe and handy. 

  • Students are instructed to affix a recently taken Passport-sized coloured photograph in the small designated box on top of the admit card. 

  • Candidates must check for all details, spellings, and information mentioned in the admit card. In case of any misprint or error, candidates must report the same to the conducting authority. 

  • If a candidate misplaces his/her NEET hall ticket, they must contact the helpline number of NTA or report the issue to the authorities at neet@nta.ac.in.

NEET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines - Documents to Carry

Along with NEET 2024 Admit Card, aspirants are required to carry a bunch of documents on the day of the exam. These include:

  • A valid ID proof [PAN card/Driving license/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar card (with photograph)/Ration card or any other document issued by the Government of India]

  • Passport size photograph (same as on the application form)

  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

NEET UG 2024 Exam Day Instructions - COVID Guidelines Issued by NTA

Following the outbreak of COVID-19, NTA has released some important guidelines to follow on the day of the NEET 2024 exam. The NEET Covid-19 guidelines listed below will not only ensure the smooth conduct of the exam but also the safety of the candidates:

  • NTA has made some changes to the NEET admit card. To maintain social distancing and avoid overcrowding on the exam day, candidates will be allotted time slots and they must report to the exam centre accordingly. 

  • In the case of NEET PwD candidates availing a scribe, both the candidate and scribe must wear face masks

  • Thermo guns will be operational for temperature check of candidates and all staff on duty

  • If the temperature rises above normal i.e. (> 37.4°C/99.4°F), candidates will be taken to the isolation room.

  • Candidates will have to wear masks, and hand gloves and carry sanitizers and water in transparent bottles.

  • It is mandatory for students to wear masks at all times.

  • The gloves and masks should be disposed of in a pedal push covered bin at the examination centre and outside the examination room/hall only. 

  • The exam venue will be disinfected before and after each shift.

NEET 2024 Exam Hall Instructions

Here are some of the important pointers to remember regarding NEET 2024 exam hall instructions on the exam day:

  • Enter your exam room by 1 pm

  • Give your thumb impression on the attendance sheet when asked

  • Scan through the booklet once you receive the same 15 minutes prior to the exam

  • Listen to the timely announcement made by the invigilators for NEET 2024 exam start time, half time, and end time

  • Use the ballpoint pen given to you by the moderators

  • Fill both sides of the OMR Sheet carefully

  • ​Any kind of stationery item such as pencil box/geometry box, plastic pouch, calculator, pen/scanner, etc. is barred in the NEET exam.

  • Candidates are not allowed to wear wristwatches, bracelets, ornaments, caps, wallets, handbags.

  • Eatable items such as chips, chocolates, water bottles are not allowed in the NEET exam.

  2. Carry the Required Documents: Carry the NEET 2024 admit card, a valid ID proof, and other documents as specified in the admit card. Candidates are also advised to carry a pen, pencil, eraser, and a transparent water bottle.

  3. Follow Dress Code: Candidates should wear light clothes with half sleeves, not having any big buttons, brooches or badges, Salwar/ Trouser/ Pant, Slippers/ Sandals with low heels.

  4. COVID-19 Protocols (if applicable): As per the COVID-19 guidelines, candidates are required to wear a mask, carry a personal hand sanitizer, and maintain social distancing. Any candidate showing symptoms of COVID-19 may be denied entry to the exam center.

  5. Follow Instructions: Follow the instructions given by the exam invigilator carefully. Any violation of the exam rules may lead to disqualification.

  6. Manage Time Effectively: NEET 2024 is a three-hour exam with 180 multiple-choice questions. Candidates must manage their time effectively and attempt all the questions within the stipulated time.

  7. Avoid Guesswork: NEET has negative markings, so it is advisable not to indulge in guesswork. Candidates should attempt only those questions that they are confident about.

NEET 2024 Rules and Regulations: Breach or Unfair Means Practices 

Based on the latest information bulletin from NTA, candidates need to maintain decorum and follow set guidelines. Aspirants have to steer clear from any activity in which they might gain an unfair advantage over others. The malpractices or unfair means practices are the following:

  • Carrying any item prohibited or barred item at the NEET exam centres.

  • Forcefully entering or exiting the test centre and examination hall.

  • Impersonating someone else and appearing for the NEET 2024 examination as the candidate themselves.

  • Affixing wrong or morphed photographs on the application form, Admit Card, or the proforma.

  • Carrying or preparing any text material usable for copying.

B.Sc Nursing course at Vivekananda College of Nursing is a 3.5 years course with a seat intake of 50. The King George's Medical University of Lucknow's entrance test scores are considered for admission in the B.Sc Nursing course. The annual fee for the course is approximately Rs 85,000. However, this is merely a tuition fee. You need to pay examination fees over and above the basic fees.

Hello Onsjam, it seems to appear that the Babulal Tarabai Institute of Research and Technology has not been approved by the PCI. The college was founded in 2007 and has been accredited by AICTE and affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal.
