The National Institute of Design (NID) has announced the last date to submit the Portfolio and SoP for NID M.Des admissions 2022. All interested candidates can find the details of NID M.Des portfolio submission 2022 here.
The National Institute of Design (NID) has released a notification in which it has stated that the last date to upload Portfolio and SoP for admission to its M.Des (Master of Design) course has been extended. Candidates who are applying for NID M.Des admissions 2022 can now submit their portfolios and statements of purpose till June 20, 2022, by 6 pm. Earlier, NID had set June 20, 2022, as the last date for uploading these documents, and candidates were supposed to submit them by 2 pm.
In order to upload the SoP (Statements of Purpose) and Portfolio for NID M.Des admissions 2022, candidates are required to visit the official website of the exam where they have to log in using their unique login credentials such as date of birth, email address, and the M.Des discipline in which they seek admission. The National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) is one of the most popular design entrance exams of India and is conducted by the National Institutes of Design (NIDs) to select students for its design courses.
This year, NID has made a few changes in its selection criteria for both M.Des and B.Des (Bachelor of Design) programmes. As a part of these changes, NID has also altered the weightage allocated to the exams of NID DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains. Hence, there are certain changes that have been made regarding how the final result for NID M.Des admissions 2022 will be prepared.

The NID Studio Test and Personal Interview will not be conducted at its campuses and the NID DAT Mains exam 2022 will be conducted online, the date of which will be announced by the institute later. These steps are being taken to ensure the safety of students amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The revised dates for NID DAT M.Des admissions 2022 have been released and the online interaction round has begun on June 27, 2022. All the candidates who have applied for the exam will have to appear for the online interview round for NID M.Des admissions 2022.
