NUALS and CUSAT have introduced some innovative programmes this year onwards. These courses comprise different degrees and specialisations.

NUALS and CUSAT Programmes

The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) have announced that they have introduced some innovative programmes for the upcoming academic year. These courses will be delivered from the academic session of 2020-21.

The National Law University (NLU) located in Kalamassery will be offering Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Banking Law and Insurance Law. These courses were proposed due to the increasing need for trained law professionals in these two sectors. The curriculum of these courses has been drafted keeping in mind the advanced knowledge level that has to be earned by the aspirants.

Both the law courses will be delivered online through video conferencing platforms in view of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. The intake of each law programme is 50. As per the university authorities, both the courses will be covered over a span of one year and classes will be held on holidays and Saturdays. Apart from these two programmes, NUALS has also started inviting applications for its existing Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Cyber Law and Medical Law and Ethics for the academic year 2020-21.
