Odisha Matric (Class 10) Exams 2020: Evaluation Process Starts from May 20

Odisha BSE will start the evaluation process of the Odisha Matric (Class 10) exams 2020 from 20th May. The board has appointed extra 6,000 evaluators for the evaluation.

Odisha Matric (Class 10) Exams 2020 Evaluation

The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will start the evaluation process of the Odisha Matric (Class 10) exams 2020 from 20th May. According to the official reports, Odisha BSE has 60 authorised centers across the state where the evaluation of Odisha class 10 answer sheets will take place. For the evaluation process, the board has appointed extra 6,000 evaluators for the same. The additional evaluators will help to speed up the evaluation process and the results will be released on time.

Odisha BSE has also directed the task force to ensure that they follow all the precautionary measures and follow social distancing to keep a check on the spread of Coronavirus. Odisha State Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash has informed that the Odisha Class 10 Result 2020 will be declared in the month of July and most likely the new session will begin in August.

Odisha Pending Class 12 Exams in June

Meanwhile, the Odisha Pending Plus 2 (Class 12) exams which got cancelled due to lockdown will take place in June. The state government will conduct the remaining plus-II exams in June if the lockdown restriction eases. The discission regarding the same is going on and the fresh dates will be announced after the situation is stable. However, the exam centres will be increased and all the important guidelines and social distancing will be followed.

Earlier, the board started the evaluation process of class 10 answer sheets on 18th March 2020. However, the same got postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The Odisha Matric Exams (Class 10) 2020 were held from 19th February to 2nd March 2020 and more than 5 lakh students appeared for the matric exams.

The Odisha Education Minister also talked about the Zero Fail Mission of the state. The government wants to ensure that all schools in the state attain 100% results.
