Online Study Materials Released by the Higher Education Council of Kerala

Interested students can access the online study resources from the official site of KSHEC. The department of education in Kerala is also contemplating to conduct the SSLC and Plus Two exams after the lockdown was lifted on May 03rd.

KSHEC Released Online Study Materials for UG and PG Programmes

With the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of this unprecedented coronavirus disease extended, the Kerala State Higher Education Council released the study materials in the online format. Interested students can access these online study materials, that are currently offered for various courses in Kerala Universities, through the official website of the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) - http://www.kshec.kerala.gov.in/.

The online study materials which are available on the official website of KSHEC have been prepared by faculty members of different colleges teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The website also contains the link to various digital learning resources by the Government which have been made available to the students.

As of now, the students can only access the online study materials of subjects which are offered at the St. Theresa’s College College Ernakulam (autonomous), Christ College Irinjalakuda, Kannur University, MG University, Kerala University and the University of Calicut.

The Kerala education department has also decided to the SSLC and Plus Two examinations a week from the 03rd of May - the date when the lockdown was lifted and it has already infirmed a COVID-19 high related power committee. The exams were put on hold to ensure the spread of coronavirus could be prevented in the state.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) released a list of to-do’s through which the academic community can productively engage themselves in online teaching and learning while adopting all the preventive measures and maintaining social distancing at the same time.
