PTU B.Tech Seat Allotment 2026: Seat Acceptance Process
The authority will issue the seat allotment letter for all the seat allottees. Candidates can refer to the following steps for the PTU B.Tech round 2 seat acceptance process in the following section:
- Go to the official website- counselling.ptu.ac.in.
- Log in to the candidates’ portal using the PTU B.Tech application number and password.
- The PTU B.Tech round 2 seat allotment letter will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take multiple printouts of the seat allotment letter for future reference
- Deposit the semester fees online in favour of the allotted colleges via the candidates’ portal to accept the allotted seats. Do not forget to take printouts of the seat acceptance fees.
Next, the candidates should complete the reporting to the allotted institutes on or before July 16, 2026. During the physical reporting process, the candidates should verify the list of documents. For the same reason, they should carry the JEE Main Rank Card, 10+2 Marksheets, Category Certificate (if applicable), Income/TFW proof, and Medical Fitness Certificate, both original and photocopies, to the allotted institute to complete the reporting. Failure of reporting by the scheduled time ( by 5 PM on July 16 ) will lead to the cancellation of allotted seats.
What if Candidates are dissatisfied with PTU B.Tech Round 2 Seat Allotment 2026?
If the candidates are dissatisfied with the PTU B.Tech round 2 seat allotment result, then they should not accept the allotted seat. Instead, the candidates must wait for the round 3 seat allotment. If there are vacancies left for the round 3 counselling, then the dissatisfied candidates can secure a seat. For the same reason, they do not need to participate in the round 3 fresh registration process.
