The final admission to the Punjab University will not depend on the PU CET UG 2026 result. For the same, the university will consider a combined weightage system, and based on that, the final merit list for B.Sc. (Hons.) and B.Pharmacy will be prepared.
- 75% weightage of PU CET UG 2026 Entrance Exam
- 25% weightage of Class 12 (Qualifying Exam) Marks
- Bonus Weightage: Additional marks will be added if the candidates qualify for standard university weightage criteria (like NCC, NSS, etc.).

Candidates whose names will be shown in the PU CET UG merit list will be called for the counselling process.
