The Government of Rajasthan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gems Education for the development of infrastructure in the state. Through this, the firm will undertake 50 Adarsh and Utkarsh Vidyalayas in the state and improve infrastructure facilities.

Gems Education will also take steps towards the curriculum development and capacity building. The organisation will also adopt State Institute of Education Research and Training (SIERT) Udaipur and five District Institution of Education and Training (DIET). The firm will jointly work with these organisations in the areas of professional development and education leadership. The primary objective of the organisation is to improve teaching and learning processes.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Vasundhara Raje, Chief Minister of Rajasthan. She said that the government is trying to make Rajasthan as an intellectual capital of the country for which the support is necessary from the department of education. Vasudev Devnani, Minster of State for School Education was also present on the occasion.
