RRB Recruitment 2019: Application Status for Level 1 Posts Released

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the application status of Level 1 of CEN No. RRC 01/2019. Candidates can find the exam pattern and PET eligibility here.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared the application status of all the candidates who had applied under CEN No. RRC 01/2019 for the several posts of Level 1. The candidates who have applied for the exam can check their application status and results. They are either declared as provisionally eligible candidates or have been rejected and have also been given reasons for their rejection. The application status of all the candidates is provided on the official website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

How to Check the Application Status of Level 1 Under CEN No. RRC 01/2019

The steps to check the application status provided by the Railway Recruitment Board are given below. Follow them to find out your result.

  • Go to the official website of the Indian Railways.
  • You will find the link for recruitment on the top of the home page.
  • Select it and you will be redirected to a new page.
  • From all the regional websites that are given, click on the link of the region from where you have applied.
  • Click on the option that has the link to check the application status under CEN No. RRS 01/2019.
  • Click on your region.
  • Log in by entering your date of birth and registration number.
  • Your application status will be displayed on the monitor screen.

The candidates must keep in mind that the link through which they can check their application status will be active till 23:59 hours on 31st July 2019, Wednesday. The candidature of all the candidates that are eligible is completely provisional and it can be cancelled at any level of the recruitment process.

RRB Recruitment 2019 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for RRB recruitment process has been notified by the Railways Recruitment Board. The candidates will have to appear for the entrance test which will be held in the online mode. It will be a Computer Based Test with a total of 100 questions which will be related to the subjects of Mathematics, General Science, General Awareness, Current Affairs, and General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes (1.5 hours) and ⅓ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer given by the candidate. The question paper will comprise 25 questions each from mathematics and general intelligence, 20 questions from current affairs and general awareness, and 30 questions from general intelligence.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Eligibility

After the Computer Based Test (CBT), candidates will be selected for the Physical Efficiency Test on the basis of their merit in the CBT. The applicants must note that the total number of candidates called for PET is three times the total vacancies of the posts that are notified against RRBs or RRCs. It is essential for the candidates to qualify the PET round in order to be selected.

The male candidates should be capable of lifting and carrying a weight of 35 kilograms for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes without putting the weight down even once. They should also be able to run for 1,000 metres in a total of 4 minutes and 15 seconds in just one chance.

Similarly, the female candidates will have to carry a weight of 20 kilograms through the same distance and for the same time. They will have to run for 1,000 metres at a stretch in 5 minutes and 40 seconds. The rules will be the same as those for the male candidates.

For Level 1 of RRB, a total of 1 lakh vacancies were released on 23rd February 2019. Apart from that, there are 30,000 more vacancies for the non-technical popular categories (NTPC), paramedical staff, ministerial and isolated categories.
