So to take a step for their conservation is the need of the hour. This thing striked NIT students and they came up with a rocking idea to start a Campaign to Save Birds.

They identified 50 spots through a survey in their campus and a group of 20 students took the responsibility of their food and water needs.
When the Cheif Minister of Chhattisgarh Honourable, Dr. Raman Singh got to know about this great initiative he was pretty impressed by NITIANS. He shared the photograph of these students in his Facebook page so that public will get an encouragement to stand for environment conservation.

In his post Dr. Raman very beautifully portrayed his views on this initiative. He said, I congratulate the students of National Institute of Technology Of Raipur for working on this theme of Environment Conservation. This SAVE BIRDS Campaign deserve a big applause. The students kept pots containing water and put some food for Birds and they do this on daily basis. The emotional connect and concern for the birds is a big learning taught by NIT students. It is a step which is going to motivate thousands of people.
