Selection Process & Counselling Procedure after AP PGECET APSCHE and JNTU Anantapur organizes the AP ECET Counseling on behalf of State Government of Andhra Pradesh for students who, besides appearing for AP ECET have attended the Certificate Verification, Registered for AP ECET Online Counseling, Filled Choices for AP PGECET Counseling and are waiting for AP PGECET Seat Allotment.
Selection Procedure: -

  • The student will be ranked based on the marks obtained by him/her in the AP PGECET Examination.
  • GATE / GPAT qualified Students are considered for admission into ME/M.Tech.
  • The final admissions process will be completed by last week of June.

Counselling Process:-

  • You need to find your rank wise helpline centre and date of counseling beforehand.
  • The left over seats after allotment for GATE / GPAT Students are alone available for AP PGECET .
  • This notification itself is a call for counseling. No separate call letters are sent to the individual Students.
  • Mere attending counseling does not guarantee a seat.
  • You have to pay non-refundable processing fee of Rs.1000/- SC/ST Students and Rs.900/- for others at the time of certificate verification.
  • Students Claiming NCC can attend at JNT University, Kakinada only as per the following Schedule.
  • Students Claiming SPORTS/CAP/PH can attend at ANU, GUNTUR only as per the following Schedule.
  • Give the personal Mobile Number and Email Address while paying counseling fee.
  • The counseling registration fee receipt contains registration ID and password. So, you keep the receipt safe as it is used at the time of performing web options.
  • Take two copies of certificates with you before going to certificate verification.
  • Keep your web options on the date allotted to you and submit it.
  • You will be provided with allotment order.
  • The allotted college will be sent to your registered mobile number through an SMS.

COUNSELLING SCHEDULE for AP PGECET:-
A.PH Category:

  • Students have to produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and only Students who have disability of 40% and above are eligible.

B.CAP Category:

Ex-Service Personnel have to produce

  1. Service Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer
  2. Identity Card
  3. Discharge Book for verification

Serving persons have to produce Service Certificates from the place of work indicating the relationship with the Student. Only students whose parents are domicile of Telangana /AP are eligible to considered under “CAP” Category.

C. NCC Category:

  • Students have to produce concerned certificates along with A, B, C Certificate(s).

Documents Required:-
You will need to carry the following documents at the time of counseling.

  • AP PGECET Rank Card
  • Andhra Pradesh PGECET Hall Ticket
  • S.C / 10th or its equivalent Marks memo
  • IV TO X study certificates
  • Degree or B tech all semesters marks memos and PC
  • Residence certificate (if the candidate has no institutionalized education)
  • Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates
  • Income certificate issued after 01.01.2016
  • Aadhar Card
  • Caste certificate issued by JNTUK
  • PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority certificate if applicable.
