The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) has decided to conduct a single entrance exam for M.A, M.Sc and M.Com admissions. However, the idea will be implemented for the year 2021. This will be a common entrance test for all the state universities across Andhra Pradesh such as Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra University, Rayalaseema University, Adikavi Nannaya University, Sri Venkateswara University, Sri Krishnadevaraya University and Yogi Vemana University. Students aspiring for PG admissions in these universities will have to register for the single common entrance exam from 2021.
The idea of conducting the single exam for PG admission in the state-level universities will not be rolled out this year, as many universities have already opened the registrations for ANU PGCET exam.
Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) had introduced a single entrance exam for PG admissions, i.e., TS CPGET in 2019. It is a common entrance test for PG admissions in all state universities across Telangana. On the same lines, a common entrance test will be introduced in Andhra Pradesh. More details about the entrance exam will be confirmed soon. The mode of the entrance exam is expected to be computer-based.
