Symbiosis International University conducts four annual entrance exams, including the popular SLAT 2024 (Symbiosis Law Admission Test), categorized under SET 2024 (Symbiosis Entrance Test). The SLAT exam facilitates admission to SIU's 5-year integrated law courses: BBA LLB (Hons.) and BA LLB (Hons.) offered by four schools—SLS (Symbiosis Law School) Noida, SLS Nagpur, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Pune. SLAT scores are also accepted by institutions like Shoolini University

SLAT is an objective-type university-level examination. This year, the exam will be conducted on May 05, 2024 (Test 1) and May 11, 2024 (Test 2). The application forms have already been released on December 13, 2023, and the last date to fill the application form is April 12, 2024.

How to Apply for SLAT 2024?

The application process for SLAT 2024 exam is as follows:

  • Registration on Official Website: Candidates must visit the official website to initiate the registration process for the SLAT 2024 exam.
  • Admission Form Submission: Upon registration, candidates are required to fill out the admission form, providing their academic and personal credentials.
  • Document Upload: Applicants need to upload scanned images of the required documents, a passport-sized photo, and their signature in the prescribed format.
  • Fee Payment Options: Before final submission, candidates must complete the fee payment through various options, including Axis Bank Gateway, Billdesk Gateway, Indian Bank Gateway, or Demand Draft.

Note: The SLAT admission application fee is Rs. 2250, with an additional INR 1000 for each program.

How to Apply for SLAT 2024

After the above-mentioned process is complete, its confirmation will be sent through an e-mail containing the application number of the applicant. The aspirants are advised to keep a copy of the filled-in admission form for future reference. Apart from this, candidates are required to register for admission at the specific institute of SIU (Symbiosis International University).

The candidates are required to satisfy the set eligibility criteria to apply for the SLAT test.

  • If an aspirant is unable to meet the conditions, he/she will be considered invalid for taking the exam. Candidates are required to keep in mind the following mentioned criteria to go through with the admission process.

  • The candidates must have passed the class 12 qualifying examination from any recognised state or national board of education.

  • Applicants appearing for the class 12 exam are also eligible to apply for the SLAT test 2024 given that they produce the required qualification documents during the time of admission.

  • The aspirants applying for BBA LLB (Hons.) should have studied Social Science subjects or Arts in class 12. Also, those enrolling for BA LLB (Hons.) should have studied in the Mathematics/Commerce/Science stream.

  • Age is not a bar for the SLAT test.

The exam is framed in an objective-type pattern where the candidates will be asked to circle the correct answer out of the four options. The SLAT 2024 counselling is expected to begin in June 2024, after the result is declared for SLAT 2024, the counselling and college admission process will begin. Candidates are shortlisted as per their performance in the SLAT 2024 for the counselling process. The process includes Personal Interaction (PI) and the Writing Ability Test (WAT). Each participating college in SLAT 2024 conducts its own PI and WAT. When SLAT scores are scaled to 50, the weightage for PI is 30 and that for WAT is 20. Candidates scoring the highest marks in each parameter will be chosen in the final seat allotment. Each of the colleges will publish the category-wise cut-off marks as well as the waitlist as per the availability of seats.

Important Documents for SLAT 2024 Counselling Process

The law aspirants are required to carry all the important documents before entering the venue of counselling. They are advised to carry all the original documents as well as photocopies for verification and smooth conduction of the counselling process. Given below are the documents required.

Hello Sakshi,

To secure admission to the B.A LLB programme at Swami Vivekananda Law College, you must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks (SC/ ST category candidates - 40%). The programme is 5 years long and divided into 10 semesters. It has an intake of 120 students. The programme is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

MS Motihari College admissions are open for the current academic session. Students at MS College Motihari are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination.
