SNAP 2020 Exam Analysis

The Slot 3 of SNAP 2020 was conducted on January 9, 2021, from 11 am to 12 noon. Slot 1 and Slot 2 were conducted on December 20, 2020, and January 6, 2021, respectively. SNAP 2020 is a 60-minute computer-based test for admission to the management courses offered by the colleges affiliated to the Symbiosis International University (SIU).

The exam pattern of SNAP 2020 has been updated. All candidates will have to follow the SNAP 2020 exam day instructions that are published by SIU at the test centre. The university had released a notification earlier stating proper safety norms are put in place at the test centres to ensure the safety of the students from COVID-19. SNAP will be conducted as per the revised SOP issued by the Health Ministry.

SNAP 2020 Slot 3 exam ended at 12 noon. The overall difficulty level of Slot 3 was higher than Slot 1 and Slot 2.  SNAP Slot 3 paper was lengthy and tricky. An attempt of 41-44 questions will be good for scoring 99+ percentile in the exam.

General English section of SNAP Slot 3 was lengthy. There was no question from reading comprehension. There was one question each from tenses and sentence correction. The overall difficulty of this section was Easy to Moderate.

The Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency section was lengthy. Most of the questions in this section were time-consuming. There were 2 questions from Data Interpretation, out of which one question was easily doable while the second one was tricky. Most of the questions were asked from Arithmetic. There were 2-3 questions fromTime and Work. Besides this, there was no question from Algebra.

The first two slots of SNAP 2020 were Easy to Moderate. There were no RC questions in the Verbal section and Sentence Completion was the dominating topic. The Quant section had no DI questions and major topics were Arithmetic and Series. The Reasoning section had no surprises and major topics included Series and Critical Reasoning.
