SRM University Selection and Counseling Process

MBA in SRM University is conducted in three campuses: KTR - Kattankulathur, RMP - Ramapuram, VDP – Vadapalani. For these programs, admission is done through National level entrance examination conducted by SRM University or authorized /statutory boards or agencies known as SRMJEE.

SRM University is one of the top ranking universities in India with over 38,000 students and more than 2600 faculty across all the campus, offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Medicine and Health sciences, and Science and Humanities.

SRM Common Admission Test (SRMCAT)-MBA (Duration 2 Years) is common for SRM University, SRM University Haryana and SRM University Sikkim. SRMCAT is held in the month of April. The examination was conducted in two-day window format Registrations for the same begins in the month of October and continues till March. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with minimum aggregate of 60%.

• MBA-MBH (Master of Public Health)
• MBA-MHM (Master of Health Management)

1.Candidates will be invited for counseling session based on the score obtained in SRM Common Admission Test (SRMCAT)-MBA

2.One or more counseling sessions will be held depending on the vacancy of seats.

3.Candidates can choose their preferred specialization / branch of study in a particular campus based on
(a) the cut-off score for the specified specialization / branch
(b) fulfilling the programme-specific eligibility criteria for a particular campus and
(c) subject to the availability of seats at that point of time.

4. Upon selection of specialization / branch full tuition fees and other applicable fees have to be paid at the time of counseling

6. Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) will be issued to confirm the candidate’s admission.

Other than SRMJMEE, valid score in GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, CMAT will be considered

Counseling – I (On-campus) : 5th May to 9th May 2017
Counseling – II (online) : 11th May 2017 onwards (only for those programmes where vacancy exists)

Counseling takes place both on-campus and online.
