Students will prepare report cards.

If all set, only after satisfaction of students in studies, teachers will get promoted as UGC said. UGS made third time amendments in Academy Performance Index of Career Advance Scheme which was launched in 2010.

On this basis, Teachers will have to prove themselves on 60 points. Till 2009, teachers will be promoted on the basis of their time period, but in 2010 UGC changed this procedure and applied a new procedure for promotion and appointment named “Career Advance Scheme.”

Based on pre set API section distributed according to activity of teachers, Reading Writing, Additional Academic Activities, Research and publication etc, in which they will earn 100-100 points in each and every year, after that they will able to get senior scale.

According to new rules and regulations, 18 hours of theory and 6 hours of tutorial will be mandatory for Assistant professors. Like this, 16 hours of theory and 6 hours of tutorial for Associate Prof. and 14 hours of theory and 6 hours of tutorial will be mandatory for Professors.

Practical time is also extended from 1 hour to 2 hours. Due to new amendment, professors will have to teach 6 to 8 hours more.
