Summer Placements: Average Stipend at IIM Indore Rises by 15%
Summer Placements at IIM Indore for the batch of 2018 have been wrapped up. According to statistics, the institute witnessed a 15% rise in the average stipend as compared to 2015. Close to 170 companies participated in this season’s placement drive.
The highest stipend was provided by the Boston Consulting Group of Rs.3 lakh whereas the average stipend reached up to Rs.1.04 lakh for the entire batch. Stipend for the top 100 offers stood at Rs.1.88 lakh.
For the first time, 40% of the total companies that came for campus placements were recruiters. Following are some of the companies that took part:
- CIMB Bank
- Avalon Consulting
- Credit Suisse
- Corporate Executive Board
- DE Shaw
- Ernst & Young
- Dr.Lal PathLabs
30 offers also came from bulge bracket investment banks such as Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan Chase.
Recently placements were also conducted at IIM Kozhikode were maximum packages were offered for sales and marketing profile. 45% of the students opted for jobs in the sales and marketing division. The highest salary offered was Rs.30 lakh per annum.
