Students studying postgraduate diploma programme at T A Pai Management Institute Manipal have been awarded PGDM degrees at the 33rd convocation ceremony that was held by the Management Institute. A total of 460 PGDM Degrees were awarded at the ceremony.
One of the prestigious premier B-schools in India, T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) Manipal had its 33rd convocation ceremony at the KMC Greens Manipal. S V Nathan, the partner and chief talent officer at Deloitte had attended the ceremony along with the PRO Chancellor of MAHE. A total of 460 students were a part of the convocation ceremony hosted by T A Pai Management Institute. The students belonged to the various Postgraduate Diploma courses offered by the Institute, viz. PGD in Management, PGDM in Healthcare Management and PGDM in Banking and Financial Services.
The Director of TAPMI, Prof Madhu Veeraraghavan had emphasised that the Institute is focused on developing the students into workhorses that will become leaders of tomorrow in various prestigious organisations of the world. He also advised the students about the upcoming hardships and challenges that they will have to face in their path of life.
S V Nathan, the guest at the convocation ceremony had advised the graduating students with various insights on becoming a better leader in at the workplace. He insisted the students seize and appreciate every opportunity that comes along their way. He also persuaded them to lead a life that will make them a responsible citizen and who also holds the ethics and integrity of the workplace. He also told them about the kind of leadership qualities that the companies are looking for in candidates, along with other qualities.

Among the graduating students, Harpreet Singh had been awarded the Gold Medal at the convocation ceremony. The students across the three streams were also awarded various scholarships, awards as well as recognition for being excellent at the academic and the co-curricular activities that were held at the Institute.

T A Pai Management Manipal has also announced that they have seen 100% placement of the student in some of the most reputed companies. The average package that the students who have been placed this year fall somewhere around 11 lakhs per annum. The highest package that a student will be receiving from the graduating batch of 2019 is around 20 lakh per annum. Companies such as EY, Deloitte, Thornton, Citi Corp, HSBC, Accenture, etc have been some of the reputed companies that have come to the Institute for the placement drive that had taken place this year.
