TG LAWCET 2026 Counselling: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will conduct the closing of counselling registration for the TG LAWCET 2026 Phase 1 today, July 10, for admission into 3-Year LLB and 5-Year LLB courses. Candidates who haven’t yet registered online, along with the fee and uploading of the certificate, must register at the counselling website portal, lawcet.tgche.ac.in .

Will There Be an Extension in the Official Date?

As the TG LAWCET 2026 Phase 1 counselling registration window closes today, July 10, several candidates are speculating whether TGCHE will extend the deadline. However, no official notification regarding an extension has been issued by the Telangana Council of Higher Education as of now.

While TGCHE has occasionally extended counselling deadlines in previous admission cycles due to technical issues or administrative reasons, there is currently no official indication that the Phase 1 registration schedule will be revised. Unless a fresh notification is released on the official counselling portal, July 10 should be treated as the final date for Phase 1 registration.

TG LAWCET 2026 Counselling Registration Process Guidelines

The Phase 1 admission cycle is regulated by automated, sequential steps designed to authenticate student profiles before the option locking phase starts. Candidates must follow the structured workflow detailed below:

Online Authentication & Login: Applicants must access the gateway using their unique TG LAWCET 2026 Hall Ticket Number and Rank, through lawcet.tgche.ac.in .

Remittance of Processing Fees: To unlock the application interface, a non-refundable registration-cum-verification fee must be cleared via online payment modes. The processing fee is set at Rs.800 for general and unreserved categories, and Rs.500 for SC/ST applicants.

Uploading Academic Assets: Candidates are required to upload high-resolution, scanned copies of their original certificates (including SSC marks cards, intermediate/degree memos, and study certificates) into the system for remote scrutiny.

Verification Tracking: Following final submission, candidates must periodically check the portal to monitor the status of their preliminary online certificate verification. Any queries raised by the verification officers must be settled immediately.

Web Option Filling: The list of verified eligible applicants will be displayed on July 15, 2026. This will immediately clear the way for candidates to exercise their web choices between July 16 and July 19, 2026.

Following the publication of the provisional college-wise selection lists on July 24, 2026, candidates must physically present themselves at their allotted law colleges between July 25 and July 28, 2026. Students must carry their original certificates alongside their tuition fee remittance vouchers to solidify their entry.
