The TG SET 2025 exam will have two papers, both consisting of objective‑type questions. Paper I will contain 50 compulsory questions worth 100 marks and will be held in a single three‑hour session. Paper II will comprise 100 compulsory questions, each worth 20 marks, and will be completed within the same three‑hour session. The structure is designed to assess both breadth and depth of knowledge in a time‑efficient manner.

On TG SET 2025 exam day, candidates must arrive 30 minutes early with a printed admit card, a valid photo‑ID (Aadhaar, passport, or driver’s licence), and a passport‑size photo; mismatched documents deny entry. No electronics like phones, smartwatches, calculators, or headphones are allowed; bags, wallets, books, notes, and stationery must be left outside or in a locker; black pen, water bottle, and mask required. Phones must be switched off and placed in the designated area. Candidates must strictly follow the invigilator’s instructions, writing roll numbers correctly.
During the three‑hour session, talking, cheating or copying is prohibited; any violation leads to disqualification. Candidates may leave the hall only in emergencies, signing the attendance sheet when exiting and returning. At the end, all answer sheets and the question paper must be handed to the invigilator, and candidates may retrieve their belongings only after the invigilator announces the exam’s conclusion and permits exit.
