The application form for TNJFU 2019 admissions in M.F.Sc, M.Tech and PhD courses are made available online. The candidate has to download the application form and fill it after taking a print out. M.F.Sc or Masters of Fishery Science is a post-graduate course on fishery and its various methods. The predecessor of the course is B.F.Sc (Bachelors of Fishery Sciences). The various specialisations offered under M.F.Sc include:

• The student will have to graduate with B.F.Sc degree from any UGC recognised private, state or central government college affiliated by ICAR

• The candidates have to sit in the entrance test conducted separately for M.F.Sc admissions in Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU).

• There will be a certain percentage of quota for only Tamil Nadu Students in M.F.Sc course of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU). Students from other states cannot apply in the quota.

• Only unfilled seats will be transferred to all India Quota

• The candidate who has not studied B.F.Sc from Tamil Nadu will have to produce the domicile certificate

• Candidates who have passed with 65% in bachelors level or has 2.75 out of 4.00 OGPA or has 6.5 out of 10 CGPA are considered eligible to apply. (Only for General/Unreserved Candidates)

• For SC/ST Candidates, a minimum pass marks in required for applying

• Candidates who have left the M.F.Sc Course from Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) midway will not be counted eligible for applying

The admission for 2019 TNJFU M.Tech course in Fisheries specialisation will begin along the same lines with other postgraduates (PG) level course admission as notified in the official notification released by Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU). The M.Tech Fisheries Specialisations in TNJFU are as follows:

• M.Tech. in Aquaculture Engineering
• M.Tech. in Fish Processing Engineering

The doctoral-level research course of PhD which is available to take up after the completion of Masters level (M.F.Sc and M.Tech) is available in Tamil Nadu Dr. J. The selection process of the Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) M.F.Sc, M.Tech and PhD courses will be totally on the basis of merit.
