With the release of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2019, it was revealed that Miranda House is still considered the best college in the country. The list of top 25 colleges can be checked below. 

With the release of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2019 on Monday 8th April, it was revealed that Miranda House is the best college in the country. Many colleges of the University of Delhi have made it to the top 25 colleges of India list.

Highlights of NIRF Rankings for Colleges in 2019:

  • This year, there has been some major ups and downs in the rankings of colleges.
  • Miranda House continued to dominate the rankings this year too by bagging the top spot.
  • St. Stephen's College landed the fourth spot. Loyola College, Chennai came 6th like the previous year.
  • Presidency College, Kolkata had made improvement in rankings this year as well by landing the third spot. In 2017, the college was at 96th rank. However, the college secured 5th rank in 2018 and surprised everyone. It shows the quality of education that is being delivered in this college.
  • DU's popular college SRCC is holding the seventh spot in NIRF Rankings this year as well.
