UCEED 2026 Examination: The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026, which is being held by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, is one of the major entrance exams at the national level. As the UCEED 2026 entrance exam is scheduled to be held on January 18, 2026 , IIT Bombay has put out a set of instructions on its official website that the candidates must follow. Candidates attempting the UCEED 2026 are advised to go through the instructions and follow them strictly. Otherwise, they shall be disqualified, or their candidature shall be cancelled, irrespective of their performance.

UCEED 2026: Key Instructions to be Followed

  • The candidates are required to reach the examination centre early, before the commencement of the test, from 7 AM onwards , as stated in the admit card. They won’t be allowed after the start time if they are late, after 9 AM .
  • It is mandatory to bring a hardcopy of the admit card of UCEED 2026 and a valid original photo identity document.
  • The biometric verification process, entailing photo and fingerprint capturing, shall be done at the exam centre.
  • UCEED 2026 examination is to be held as a computer-based test for Part A. Candidates are required to strictly follow the instructions displayed on the computer system.
  • Pencils are only permitted and must be black (for the drawing component, Part B). Stationery must be brought by the candidate in a transparent bag.
  • All electronic gadgets like mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, tablets, headphones, and Bluetooth gadgets are not allowed inside the exam centre.
  • It is not permitted to carry books, notes, study material, geometry boxes, or any written papers.
  • All the candidates should be seated throughout the test and should not leave the hall unless authorised.
  • Unfair practices of any kind, impersonation, or lack of discipline will lead to automatic disqualification and possibly legal proceedings.

Candidates are advised to hold on to their admit card even when the exams are over for future reference during the result announcement process. By following all the instructions provided, the candidate can concentrate on his/her performance during the time of the exam.
