UPTAC B.Tech Counselling 2025 Expected Start Date:
The UPTAC B.Tech Counselling 2025 will expectedly begin
during the second week of June 2025 after the JoSAA Round 1 seat allotments
and will continue throughout July 2025. Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in Lucknow will post the complete counselling schedule through its official website,
uptac.admissions.nic.in
. Online candidate registration and document upload along with fee payment is expected to start in June 2025. The initial registration process will end in June 2025 but document verification is expected to begin in late July and continue into early August 2025. After document verification, the selection process will move onto choice filling and seat locking in September 2025.
The first allotment of seats will occur during the same month i.e. in September 2025. UPTAC B.Tech Counselling 2025 consists of five main counselling rounds including a special round for any remaining available seats. Applicants must pay Rs 1000/- as a counselling application fee while JEE Main 2025 scores are a mandatory requirement for participating in the counselling process.
Here are the instructions for students regarding how can they apply for the UPTAC B.Tech Counselling 2025:
- Students need to first access the official website as mentioned above.
- Select the "New Candidate Registration" link on the website.
- Follow the instructions on the display screen by reading and accepting them.
- To complete the counselling registration process enter your JEE Main 2025 application number, name, mother's name, date of birth and your gender.
- Set a password then complete all necessary details in the counselling application form.
- Students must upload scanned copies of Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, JEE Main 2025 admit card and scorecard, identity proof, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate (for UP candidates), medical fitness certificate, income certificate (for fee concession), character certificate, and recent passport-sized photographs.
- The UPTAC B.Tech counseling registration payment of Rs 1000/- must be done online using either net banking, debit card, or credit card after which it cannot be refunded later.
- After successful document upload & registration, wait for verification before proceeding. Your document verification completion will unlock your ability to begin choice filling and additional stages in the counselling procedure.
