Who is eligible to participate in Veterinary NEET UG Stray Vacancy Counselling 2025
The Veterinary NEET UG Stray Vacancy Counselling 2025 is set to commence from October 31, 2025, onwards. In this round, students who have never been previously allocated a seat will be able to participate. Unlike the previous counselling rounds, there will not be any fresh registration process for participation in the stray vacancy round. Only those who were previously registered for the counselling process will be eligible to participate in the tsray vacancy round. Eligible students will have to pay a participation fee according to the caste category and claim their eligibility. The participation fee will be refunded to the student only after they have accepted their seat and completed the admission process.

Who Can Apply for Veterinary NEET UG Stray Vacancy Counselling 2025?
Here are some important points to remember for participating in the Veterinary NEET UG Stray Vacancy Counselling 2025:
Students can participate in this round only if they have previously completed their counselling registration process. The NTA does not hold a fresh registration process for the stray vacancy counselling round.
It is mandatory to pay a participation fee for this round of counselling. The amount payable is Rs 50,000/- for the General/OBC/EWS category, and Rs 25,000/- for the SC/ST/PH category.
The participation fee is refundable and will be sent back to the students after the counselling process concludes. However, students will only get the fee refunded if they have confirmed their seats and completed the rest of the admission process.
If a student decides not to report to the allotted college after seat allocation in this round, their participation fee will be forfeited by the Council, and the seat will be cancelled.
Only the students who have not been allocated any seats in the previous rounds of counselling will be eligible for participation in the stray vacancy round.
Those who have been allocated a seat in the previous counselling rounds will not be able to take part in the stray vacancy counselling round. This stands regardless of whether they have reported to their colleges or not.
The Veterinary NEET UG Stray Vacancy is the final stage of the admission counselling process, and no seats will be allocated further beyond this. If some seats still remain vacant after this round, a special stray vacancy counselling round will be conducted.
