JEXPO 2023: Seat Allotment, Counselling, Admission Process

JEXPO 2023 - JEXPO seat allotment 2023 result phase 2 was declared on August 24, 2023 in the online mode and candidates allotted seats in 2nd phase of seat allotment must ensure to complete the validation and admission process from August 25 to 29, 2023. JEXPO 2023 counselling for round 3 will be commenced by WBSCTE with the declaration of JEXPO seat allotment 2023 result for 3rd phase on August 30, 2023. Candidates allotted seats can complete the validation process and admission for round 3 counselling from August 31 to September 4, 2023. Moreover, the authorities will release the institute wise vacany list on September 5, 2023 on its official website at webscte.co.in. JEXPO spot counselling admission cum registration process and choice filling from September 5 to 6, 2023. JEXPO spot counselling result will be declared on September 7 with the spot admission process at institutes will begin from September 8 to 9, 2023.

JEXPO 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be an Indian nationality
• The candidate must have passed the Secondary examination (10+2) conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent examination from a recognized board
• The candidate must have studied Physics/ Physical Science, English, and Mathematics as the major subject with any other optional subjects in the qualifying exam
• The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 35% as per AICTE norms without rounding off and without taking the aggregate of the additional subject in the qualifying examination
• The candidate who is appearing in the final exam can also apply for admission
• The candidate must not be born before 01/07/2006. There is no upper age limit to apply for admission

2. New candidates will have to register on the portal using the required information. The candidates who have already registered can sign in using the enrolment ID and password to access the application form.

3. Fill out the application form using all the important details such as name, address, educational qualification, etc.

4. Upload a passport-size photograph and scanned signature in the prescribed format.

5. After carefully filling out the application form, click on submit button.

Category-wise Application Fee for JEXPO 2023

As per the previous year's guidelines, the JEXPO application fee has been waived for the academic year 2022. That means candidates don't have to pay the application fee for the registration process. Any changes in the guidelines will be updated here. 

JEXPO 2023 Admit Card 

JEXPO admit card 2023 was released on May 31, 2023. The JEXPO 2023 admit card will be issued to all the registered candidates before the JEXPO 2023 exam. The candidates have to download the admit card from the official website using the application number. It is compulsory for all the candidates to bring the printout of admit card for JEXPO 2023 or else they will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The admit card will consist of all the important details such as exam venue, date and time, etc.

2. Click on the link to download JEXPO 2023 admit card.

3. Enter the application number generated at the time of filling out the application form and the password to log in.

4. The admit card for the entered application number will be displayed on the screen.

JEXPO Result 2023

West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) declared the JEXPO 2023 result on June 29, 2023 in the online mode. Candidates can check their results by visiting the JEXPO 2023 official website and entering their login credentials in the result portal. The result has been made available online on the website. The authority does not send any emails or letters to specific applicants about the JEXPO 2023 Results. Candidates should print off a copy of the JEXPO 2023 result for use in the process. The authority does not offer any infrastructure for post-publication scrutiny, inspection, or examination.

JEXPO Merit List 2023

After the JEXPO 2023 was conducted, the examination board had released the JEXPO merit list 2023, based on the result of the candidates. The JEXPO 2023 merit list consists of the names of all the candidates who have qualified for the entrance test along with their index number, application number gender, category and rank. The merit list was released along with the JEXPO result 2023 and can be downloaded from the official website. The students having their names on the merit list will be further called for the counselling process. Candidates who receive 0 points in either "Physics," "Mathematics," or "Chemistry," or who choose not to take any of the two examinations, are not included in the merit list.

The candidates who qualify for the entrance test will have to appear for the counselling process where they will be allotted seats in the college. JEXPO Reservation Policy 2023

The West Bengal Council of Technical Education prescribes some reservation policies depending on the category of the candidate for admission.
