Wildlife Institute of India is inviting applications for the position of Research Personnel for the project ‘Population Management of Species involved in Human-Wildlife Conflict’. The interviews will be conducted on 28th and 29th August 2019. Wildlife Institute of India is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.
The ‘Population Management of Species involved in Human-Wildlife Conflict’ project is sponsored by MoEF&CC. This project focuses on developing a proper mechanism for controlling the population of some specific wild animals.
Wildlife Institute of India Research Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants who are interested in this post and want to apply for it need to know the eligibility criteria for being eligible for the post. Wildlife Institute of India Research Personnel Recruitment Application Process
Candidates need to apply for the posts of ‘Research Personnel’ by August 11, 2019. The application process is online. Applicants can fill up the online all the necessary information and along with a recent passport size picture. Candidates need to also pay the application fee online through an online payment gateway. It is a must for the applicants to mention the post they are applying for in the application form.
Application Fee for Wildlife Institute of India Research Personnel Recruitment
Candidates need to pay the application fee for the application form. The application fee should be paid through the online payment gateway. The payment of application fee can be made through debit card/ credit card/ internet banking. The application fee is Rs 500 for general candidates. However, the SC and ST candidates need to pay Rs 100.
Wildlife Institute of India Research Personnel Recruitment Selection Process
The candidates who applied for the posts of Research Personnel need to sit for the entrance exam. The mode of the entrance exam is online. The online entrance exam will be conducted at Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Lucknow, Guwahati, Dehradun, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bhopal. The address of the exam centres will be given in the admit card.
Candidates will be then shortlisted and called for the personal interview round. The final list of candidates will be selected on the basis of how the candidates perform in the interview round.
Note: Candidates who have cleared the CSIR/UGC- JRF Fellowship exam do not have to sit for the written examination. However, they need to sit for the personal interview and clear it in order to get the post.
