Will CAT 2020 Be Conducted in an Online Proctored Mode?

As we have seen with a number of exams this year, CAT 2020 may also be conducted in an online proctored mode. In such a scenario, candidates will be allowed to appear for CAT 2020 from their homes, as was seen in the MAT 2020 IBT exam. No final word from the IIMs has been heard on the same.

However, Prof. Shailesh Gandi, the Dean of Programmes at IIMA, has stated that the institute is exploring technology options for conducting online proctored exams and weighing the advantages and disadvantages of conducting CAT 2020 in an online proctored mode.

As of now, the only option in front of the candidates is to be patient and continue their CAT 2020 preparation with full rigour.
