About NIOS Class 10th
The National Institute of Open Learning provides a course that is similar to that of class 10th for most of the boards available in India. There is no upper age limit to take admission in class 10th however students must be 14 years of age to be eligible to sit for the secondary exam. NIOS 10th 12th On-Demand Exams 2025
NIOS authorities have been working on on-demand examinations to make the environment of open learning more flexible. On-demand examinations are available for students so they can walk into an examination center and take the secondary and senior secondary examination whenever they feel ready. The computer will randomly generate a set of question papers, and questions will be provided to the student to attempt. The on-demand examination (ODE) will offer multiple advantages to the students as it provides them with more flexibility in terms of education and prevents stress. The ODE results are declared through the NIOS website during the last week of every month for the examination conducted during the preceding month. Check the procedure given below to apply for ODE:

NIOS Class 10, 12 Grading System 2025

For both secondary and senior secondary on-demand examinations, the students have to pay 500 rupees per subject and Rs 200 extra for the subjects which involve practical exams. The students also have to pay an additional Rs 50 for every online transaction.
