LPU B.Sc Agriculture program is of 4 years is divided into 8 semesters. The program is available in both offline and online modes. LPU B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture program is focused on building knowledge over well-planned on-field execution and analyzing basic conceptions in production, yield enrichment, disease resistance, and improved shelf life of food and flora. Building professionals to challenge the dogma from seed to stomach. LPU B.Sc. Agriculture Eligibility Criteria The qualifying criteria for the program B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture are mentioned below: Qualifying the test LPUNEST and have a 60% aggregate in grades of: The candidate must pass 10+2 with mandatory subjects like English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, and Forestry. The candidate must pass 10+2 in Agriculture. A candidate must have a Diploma in Agriculture for 2 years after 10th Class. LPU offers a full-time B.Sc Agriculture program for a duration of four years. It includes disciplines like Agronomy, Horticulture Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Economics, Extension, etc. The tuition fee per semester is Rs 1,20,000 but we also offer scholarship on various categories on the tuition fee to lessen the burden of fee.The scholarship is offered on various categories like LPUNEST exam, percentage in qualifying exam, Sports, Cultural, co-curricular, Defence, Need based, Disability, Orphan and special scholarship to Board toppers. LPUs School of Agriculture offers an up-to-date curriculum designed to suit the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The laboratories of the School are world-class. The dedicated faculty gives the students hands-on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units. It includes disciplines like Agronomy, Horticulture Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Economics, Extension, etc. The major emphasis of this is to get the students acquainted with knowledge and hands-on experiences in the above-mentioned discipline and apply that knowledge to high-value agricultural production in a sustainable manner. Students are engaged towards evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE to build interpersonal skills. The students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that creates an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Emphasis on case studies and interpersonal-based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgement by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios are given. Innovative Pedagogy And Curriculum This year the highest package was 23 lpa and average 3.3 lpa.
