Being alumni of LPU I would love to share information about the hotel management programme offered at LPU. LPU offers hotel management programme in the following degree programmes: 1) BSc (Hotel Management) 2) Bachelor of Hotel Mgt. and Catering Technology 3) BSc (Hotel Management) [Lateral Entry] 4) Bachelor of Hotel Mgt and Catering Technology (BHMCT) [Lateral Entry] 5) Bachelor of Hotel Mgt & Catering Technology (BHMCT) [2+2 with International Credit Transfer Option] 6) MSc (Hotel Management) Let me share a few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU : LPU School of Hospitality has been ranked 9th best private Institute in India Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. Uni-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through the most modern gazettes. We have a few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. The School trains its students in the campus hotel named University Hotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practise along with the staff. The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable students to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gadgets.
