To take admission in B tech ECE, you have to fulfil the eligibility as per the LPU terms. You need 60% aggregate marks in 12th with Physics, mathematics and English and also you have to qualify the LPUNEST test that is mandatory for the admission. LPUNEST test is Lovely professional university national entrance & scholarship test that is considered not only for eligibility but for scholarship also. Registration for 2024 admissions has been started, you can register your self and follow the steps as per the dates. Hi , LPU offers electronics and communication programme which is accredited with NBA. this program provide student a strong foundation in the field of ECE. It is a 4 year with 8 semester program and the eligibility is 60% aggregate marks in 12th with Physics, Mathematics and English or LPUNEST is mandatory for this program. LPUNEST is not for eligibility it also offers scholarships and LPU also believe that should not be an obstacle in study. So LPU also offers various types of scholarships. At LPU, we offer a program in Electronic and Communication Engineering. This program helps students understand the concepts from basic science to technology. We also provide practical experience through laboratory work and projects. This helps students develop problem-solving skills that are needed in the industry. Students will learn and become skilled in things like understanding and manipulating signals, creating communication systems, designing very small computer chips, building systems that are inside other machines, and creating robots. To join LPU a candidate must pass 10+2 with at least 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and English. They also need to take and pass the LPUNEST exam. Students who score at least 90 percentile in JEE Mains or have 90% or higher marks in their 10+2 exams do not need to take the entrance exam. If a candidate didn't study English but studied in English in their qualifying exam, they might not have to meet the English requirement. North East states and Sikkim candidates, as well as Defence Personnel and their Dependents, will have a 5% relaxation. This also applies to the Wards of Kashmiri Migrants. The eligibility criteria for admission into a programme determines whether or not LPUNEST is required. If the programme requires LPUNEST, the candidate must clear the entrance exam to be eligible for admission. However, if the eligibility criteria only requires a pass or a certain percentage, LPUNEST is not mandatory. Nonetheless, candidates can still opt to take the exam for scholarship purposes. There are three brackets: • LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category I cut-off • LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category II cut-off • LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category III cut-off This cut off depends on various parameters like number of students appeared, highest marks in the exam and many more. Also, there is no negative marking in this exam so chances of scoring well are more in this. In order to apply for the Exam, you can refer the following steps : 1 Register yourself on the portal 2. Fill the details 3. Choose the programme 4. Apply for LPUNEST 5. Make the payment for LPUNEST and Book the slot for the Exam i.e date and time for the exam as per your availability. 6.
