The eligibility criteria to appear for NEET 2017 is as follows:
For General category, 10+2 with subjects like Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry and English and a minimum score of 50% in the first three. For OBC and other reserved category students, the requirement is that of at least 45% for the same combination of subjects.
One must be at least 17 years of age (as on December 31, 2016) to apply for NEET 2017. Upper age limit for the unreserved category is 25 years while for reserved category is 30 years.
So as long as you had Biology in class 12th from a recognized board of the country, you can appear for NEET 2017, irrespective of the fact that you are enrolled in NIOS now.
