Admission in Telangana and Tamil Nadu : How to get admission in B.Tech college of Telangana and Tamil Nadu if I am a resident of Rajasthan?

- AdminUpdated On January 18, 2017 07:08 PM

Dear student,

To apply to engineering colleges in Telangana or TN, you will need to write either JEE Mains (for 15% of the seats reserved for all India level) or the State level engineering entrance exam (for 85% of the seats).

Know About: All Engineering Entrance exams in India

Based on your result, the state government body will call you for Counselling Process.

Assuming that you are not a domicile from either of these states, you will not some get some benefits, which the students of those states will otherwise get, eg, Quota of various categories, Waiver of tuition fees, and government seat privilege (which offers you a subsidized tuition fee).

Rest of the conditions remains the same.

However, if the choice of your institute is owned/ managed by a trust or independent body of the state, it is at their discretion to make rules regarding admission of students from outside states.

Similarly, every state has their own domicile rules/ definition of domicile.
