I am not aware about the admission process at this university. But i can brief you about the admission process at LPU. LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. In general, the score in the previous qualification should be as required as per eligibility mentioned on the website. In addition to that, the candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to.

Well, it depends upon the programme you would like to take admission in. What eligibility criteria it follows. If the eligibility says subject to qualifying LPUNEST then you have to clear the entrance exam. In addition to qualifying it also provides you a good amount of scholarship if you score well. In case the eligibility of the programme says Pass or only states some percentage criteria, only then LPUNEST will not be a mandatory to qualify. Still in this case, a candidate has an option to appear for LPUNEST just for the sake of scholarship purposes. As “LPUNEST” is short for “Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship test”. In my opinion a candidate should appear for this exam even if it is not mandatory, the reason behind that is, there is a chance that you can avail a good scholarship. Hope I have answered your query. Good Luck!

Dear student,

The University of Delhi, popularly known as DU, is one of the most reputed universities in the country. Students from all over India seek admission to the 66 affiliated colleges of the university - in different courses and programmes - at the UG, PG as well as Ph.D. levels.

Admissions to DU are conducted in an online mode wherein candidates have to fill in a common application form. Each college of the university releases cut-off lists based on certain parameters -- and the students should have attained that percentage at the +12 level.

However, this year, there is a possibility that an entrance test will be conducted for UG admissions to do away with the cut-off system and bring in more transparency in the admission process. No confirmation or decision has yet been taken in this regard.
