If you are planning to give IPS examintion, it is preferable that you opt for subjects like History, Political Science, Economics, etc.

With a score as less as this, getting admissions to any of the NITs will be difficult but it is hard to tell as the NITs have not yet declared the cutoff for 2016. Admission to any of the regional government colleges will depend on their individual cutoffs and the category you have applied as. It is recomended that you apply for the government colleges in Madhya Pradesh, being a resident you will get a preference.
