The course for Aerospace Engineering has been designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, airframes, wings. The course equips a student to be able to effectively build and communicate the solutions crafted using learnings from basic aerospace engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools. He will have the ability to comprehend the problems and craft solutions in the field of Aerodynamics, Aerospace structure, Aerospace Vehicle design, and propulsions. He will rightly apply the associated learning for the atmospheric Flight mechanics, Jet And Rocket propulsions, Gas Dynamics, and Space Flight Mechanics for the solutions to real-world problems. He would demonstrate the ability to propose cost-effective optimized solutions for the aerospace sector using a simulated environment of Computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing, and computer-aided engineering. As per the NIRF ranking, LPU is ranked 66th among all government and private universities. As per The Times of India ranking, LPU was at no 36. The highest package offered in the course is about 31 LPA. The average salary was 4.8 LPA. Recently, Gopalchetty Brahma and Vinay Kumar Reddy Andluri topped the youth category (over 18 years), while Sathwik Bikumalla won gold in the junior category (under 18 years) in the online competition prestigious International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC) 2021. All three are Aerospace Engineering students at Lovely Professional University. IAAC 2021, one of the world’s largest astronomy competitions, registered over 4,700 participants, 1,300 of whom made it to the pre-final and final rounds. Dear Aspirant, As compared to Aeronautical Engineering, the scope of Aerospace Engineering is broader from career point of view. The selection of institute to pursue course is very important to build a strong and valuable career in Aerospace Engineering. There are very few good universities who are doing good for his students for their best career. There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. to be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will be the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is a well renown university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. As per NIRF-2020 ranking, LPU is amongst top 100 institutes of India. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure. LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself and have well established labs for Aerospace Engineering course and have strong industry inputs such as HAL, ISRO,DRDO, INMAS. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition's and accreditation down the lane and mark itself among the few of the top universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other universities as it is ranked 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies. LPU has more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academics and placements of his students. Companies such as Jindal Steel, Mahindra Motors, Tata Motors, Ashok Layland, Escort, Sonalika, Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear,Skyline Airlines, MERADO are visiting campus for internships and placements. Tanya Arora of LPU who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA (https://m.timesofindia.com/spotlight/lpu-one-of-the-few-indian-universities-from-where-google-microsoft-hire/articleshow/75690005.cms). So, we have no doubt that LPU is best and a bench marks for placement and internships of students. One more point I want to highlight here is that the scholarships offered by LPU helps a student without any monetary burden. Now, LPU has floated COVID-19 Front-line Scholarship for COVID survivors and their dependents as well which is the best possible effort it can provide to target every aspirant in this current scenario. So, these are the few points of LPU which will help you for your decision to take admission upto 15 July,2020. For more information you can visit university website or call toll free number.
