Admission in Aerospace Engineering : Marks in 12th Board and percentage need to join in your college?

Designed for learners intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. The highest package offered in the course is about 31 LPA. The average salary was 4.8 LPA. Recently, Gopalchetty Brahma and Vinay Kumar Reddy Andluri topped the youth category (over 18 years), while Sathwik Bikumalla won gold in the junior category (under 18 years) in the online competition prestigious International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC) 2022. Eligibility :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST&For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.(5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants). The programme comes with engineering minors: 1. AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE 2. SPACE ENGINEERING and pathway electives 3. ADVANCED AEROSPACE TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION for industry immersion In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPU-NEST or JEE Main will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. The fee per semester is 120,000 and they also offer good scholarship to students on different criteria. The eligibility criteria for admission to HITS is:

  • Entrance exam marks
  • Pass in (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum average of 60% marks in Maths, Physics, & Chemistry

  • Any other examination of any university or authority accepted by this University as equivalent of plus two

How to Apply to HITS?

In order to apply to HITS, you will need to take the HITSEEE 2017. The form is not yet out and is expected to be out in the first week of January 2017. Besides this, you can even take other engineering entrance exams in India like JEE, BITSAT etc.
