Dear student,
In order to study B. Tech, you need to have studied Maths, Physics & Chemistry in Class 11 & 12. You need to score a minimum of 60% marks in your Board exams and appear for various engineering entrance exams in India. Depending on your score in these exams, you will get a rank and basis that rank, you will be eligible for Counselling. Once you attend the Counselling, you will get to know which colleges you are eligible to apply to.
A B. Tech course will take you 4 years to complete (if you don't fail in any of the years). Good luck!
