B. Sc admission : I got 61% in ISC with JAC board. Which college will be suitable for me for BSc in Zoology?

You can pursue B.Sc Zoology from my alma mater which is Lovely Professional University(LPU). The eligibility criteria to enroll in the program is to pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry, & Biology/ Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET. Recent achievements by the B.Sc Zoology students are: 1. Kunwar Sahi wins Best Innovation Award for Artificial Intelligence, in NITI Aayog-supported event. 2. Verto Akhila Madhu bagged Scholarship for Higher studies at the University of Huddersfield, UK. 3. Student Sonali bagged Scholarship for Higher Studies at the University of Calgary, US. 4. Student bags package of Rs. 11 LPA at Whatfix. As far as placements are concerned, ₹ 12 LPA is the Highest Package received by the students of the university.

Zoology or Bachelor of Science in Zoology is an undergraduate Zoology course. The fervor to traverse and explore the field of science and study of the animal kingdom as well as its evolution, classification, habitats, distribution, embryology, physiology, and genetics can be persuaded through this course of zoology. BSc Zoology graduates can work as a Zookeeper, Researcher, Lab technician, Teacher, and Nature conservation officer.

Dear student,

The cut-off for most colleges for B. Sc in Zoology is above 80% in the first cut-off list. You may wait for the 3rd or 4th cut-off list to come out and then see what colleges are available to you, or if you have a second option/ preference for a course, take admission in that as a back-up option. Additionally, you may look at some private colleges offering B. Sc in Zoology as listed below. Good luck.
