Agri) to Doctorate in different specializations in Agriculture. LPU conducts a national level entrance test LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test). The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. LPUNEST is considered for offering Scholarship as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes.. The eligibility for admission to B.Sc. Agricolture at LPU is Qualifying LPUNEST and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in:. (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent *Condition of English as a subject may be waived off provided the candidate has studied in English medium The minimum age to take admission in http://B.Sc. LPUs agriculture program is designed for the holistic development of students. LPUs School of Agriculture offers an up-to-date curriculum designed to suit the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The laboratories of the School are world-class. The dedicated faculty gives the students hands-on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units. It includes disciplines like Agronomy, Horticulture Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Economics, Extension, etc. The major emphasis of this is to get the students acquainted with knowledge and hands-on experiences in the above-mentioned discipline and apply that knowledge to high-value agricultural production in a sustainable manner. Students are engaged towards evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE to build interpersonal skills. The students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that creates an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Emphasis on case studies and interpersonal-based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgement by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios are given. Innovative Pedagogy And Curriculum This year the highest package was 23 lpa and average 3.3 lpa.
