At LPU the eligibility for B Tech programs is 60 percent in the qualifying exam and qualifying LPUNEST. However, (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) is given. Bachelors of Technology, often referred to as B.Tech, is a four-year full-time course that covers different fields of engineering and technology. The LPU programs are designed to develop the technical skills of aspirants who wish to work in the core technology and development sector. B.Tech comprises both theoretical and practical knowledge. Students are also offered hands-on training in order to learn how different software and hardware in their respective fields are operated. Apart from the core engineering sectors, B.Tech enables candidates to work in the Information Technology, Data Analysis, Consultancy and Management sectors. With good technical skills, Bachelor of Technology graduates can also apply for jobs in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and other jobs in the government sector.

Dear Student,

Most of the private engineering colleges offering B.Tech courses in Mumbai will be very costly, therefore you will have to apply for government engineering colleges in the state. In order to apply for the state colleges, you must have appeared for the MH CET 2017 exam. Admission to all state-level engineering colleges will be done either on the basis of MH CET or on the basis of JEE Mains 2017.

However, It is advisable that if you get admission in a good private college then you should secure your seat and apply for education loans if you want financial assistance. We have also forwarded your query to our admission experts and a counselor will contact you soon.
