Dear student,

With a B. Tech degree, you can do either - B. Tech or MBA. What matters is your interest. If you want to be in the same field, then I suggest that you do an M. tech. However, if you want to get into the manegerial aspect of the business, then go for an MBA. A better way to figure it out would be to check job options after both.

With a B. Tech degree in Agriculture, you can get jobs in a number of organisations both in the govt and private sector. If you do an M. Tech, you can get into a more refined postion or maybe get into research.

Some of the colleges in India offering M. Tech in Agricultural Statistics or M. Tech in Food Technology & other related specialisations include:

For MBA, you will need to take an entrance exam/ s, most popular being CAT. Other exams include XAT, CMAT, MAT, SNAP, IBSAT etc. Basis your score in these exams, you can shortlist MBA colleges in India
